I am a relatively new Deed Mapper user. I am attempting to plot land
ownership in the early 1800's. To do this, I had to use later deeds
wherein the land
was divided. I created a file for these deeds, then created another file
where I copied only the outter property lines. Now I would like to
original file, but cannot find a way to do it. Any suggestions?
There is no provision within DeedMapper for this. Probably the
easiest way is to open Windows Explorer, navigate to the folder
holding the project (file), highlight it, and delete the file. Be
sure that you have the right file. It will have a File Extension of .MBL.
Personally, I would retain the file. The DeedMapper files are small
and don't take up much room. It may save having to re-enter the
deeds in the future.
Hope this helps -
