To your point of will your deeds end up in the right place when you just
have the map in the folder. They will not be in the right place without
intervention from you. You have to place the map/deeds at the correct
coordinates to have them come out right. Not hard to do usually.
The key is to find the deed with a geographic feature that matches the same
feature on the map. Sometimes depends on getting a map of the same
vintage as your deed(s), sometimes involves some insight/guesswork. I'm
referring to meets and bounds deeds, of course.
