Michele,
Deed Mapper handles the public land survey type properly as far as it
goes (two aliquot part descriptions). If there is a third part (and a
number of my deeds have this), it takes a little extra editing of the
text, but it is fairly easy to do once one realizes how the parts get
translated into Deed Mapper descriptors. I am finding that after the
initial patents, the land is getting broken up into parts that don't
conform strictly to aliquot terms anyway, so the point is moot. It
would be nice to have the third (or more, if they exist) aliquot part
capability, but I wouldn't let that deter me from getting Deed Mapper.

I am a little worried after reading the post about Deep Mapper not
being
able to handle Public Land Survey (township/range/section) descriptions
properly. I have land parcels of both types. As much as I need help with
metes and bounds I would like a program that can handle both adequately. Is
this something that will be updated, does anyone know?
