are looking for a capable graphics editor may be interested in following up.

During this April the mail list included messages about editing
produced by Deed Mapper. Some discussed using Photo Shop to edit images.
Image editing in the mail list's April messages brought to mind the
features of GIMP. It appears the GIMP's features and the image editing
activities discussed in the list's messages could be a match.
I searched the mail list's archives over the years and found no mention
of GIMP. Although I have no experience using Deed Mapper or GIMP, I
think their products might be compatible. And if so, use of GIMP may be
attractive since it is an Open Source program which could be an useful
alternate to Adobe's Paint Shop program. For your consideration I
include the following references about GIMP. Please note: The CNET website
includes reviews which have pros and cons in comparing GIMP to Photo Shop.

Perhaps in the past you studied the features of GIMP as an adjunct to
Deed Mapper and found GIMP to be of little usefulness. If so, please
