There are two things going on.
1. SE some number of degrees. Usually this is the same as South some number
of degrees East.
2. Degrees, minutes, and seconds for an angle. In DeedMapper you separate
them with a slash.
So, try entering it as

After some straightforward deeds from early South Carolina, I have
into trouble with some post-revolutionary SC deeds. An example of the
format given in the plat drawings is as follows:
SE 80"63"20 This format is used throughout my deed data.
And it does not fit the NW 80o N 50 ft format I was expecting. I
would be grateful if someone could help.
