If you are having trouble selecting the right on, the easiest trick is to
open your MBL file using a text editer like Notepad or Word pad, search for
the annotation, and delete it.
You'll find a line like:
txt -7328 958 F127 R0 =This is a test annotation
Just delete the whole line.

Thanks for the tip. I opened it up in a text editor as you suggested and
found I had not just one annotation but a dozen or more of the same
thing. No wonder it kept coming back when I deleted it.
