I also am having a problem on both PCs with Windows ME: get the same
message on each machine:
Dmwin has caused an error in MFC40.DLL. Dmwin will now close.
Only thing I can think of is have Office 2000 with SP1 installed but I
any program could be causing. DM is essentually useless now!

Subject: [DMU] program crashes - help!
I have just purchased the DM3.0 program. It loaded fine and I was able
to work through the tutorial and open the samples. But when I went to
File - New the program crashed. I got a message that said
"DMWIN caused a divide error in module DMWIN.EXE at 0197:00413ad5"
I was left with a only the shell of the DM window - no menus or tool
bars. There was no way to get rid of this window. I even tried
Control-Alt-Delete to select it for End Task. It wasn't in the list of
programs that were running. The only way to get rid of the dead window
was to power off and on again. I've tried again and again to open a new
file, and this happens every time.
I'm using Windows ME. From the postings I've seen, others are running DM
on ME and it's working for them.
Has anyone else experienced this problem? Any solutions?
