Thanks very much, Steve. I appreciate the suggestion concerning the
line color for the original "parent" deed. I was planning to fill the
"offspring" parcels with different colors.

large deed was entered first, there's no difficulty assigning fill colors to the
smaller descendant deeds. If the large deed was entered after the division deeds, then
the fill color of the large deed will cover over the fill color of the division deeds.
By the way, as an alternative to filling the original deed, I've recently been using
a different line color for the original deed. You can also experiment with bold or thick
line style too.
