I have not posted theses Daniels on my web page yet. It looks like my Ambrose Daniel,
date wise, (1738-1795) fits into the family of Peter Daniel (1723-1794) of Brunswick Co.,
NC. That means he, Ambrose, is removed from the family of William Daniel of Caroline and
his son Moses Daniel because Moses did not have any children. Ambrose has the right dates
and Brunswick ties to be a son of Peter Daniel Sr., and wife Sarah Randall. Generally the
issue of Peter Daniel do not display Ambrose or a Joseph Daniel (1723-1794) who has the
credinuals to be a son also.
There were other Daniels in Prince George Co., Va. as illustrated in the works of Dr. J.
W. Pritchett, but as of yet, I have found no connection to the John Daniel the Immigrant,
with no known wife. John Daniel Sr., of Brunswick Co., VA., was born in England? John W.
Pritchett does not list a birthplace.
This is the way I see it?
Immigrant John Daniel - his sons
…..Hugh Daniel - This Hugh Daniel (abt. 1714 - 1751) may reach across both Brunswick
County and Prince George Co., Virginia?
…..John Daniel -John Daniel was among a number of people, including Peter and Christopher
Tatum (sons of Nathaniel Tatum [1655-1719] of Prince George Co, VA), who patented land in
Brunswick Co, VA on 28 Sept 1728. (1707-1794)
…..Peter Daniel Sr., - (Crab Louse Run Daniel Land Grants) (1710-1788)
When I feel this is correct or close enough I will change my web pages. Thanks to Kevin
and Mike for their considerable help.
As usual if this is not your cup of tea feel free to ignore me. I have noticed that a
message I sent recently, eventually wound up on Google. Watch your back Lone Ranger, they
are everywhere, everywhere. Of course my mess ain’t secret anyway.
