In a study, I am not sure if the author is still active, we find that
John Daniel Sr., of Brunswick Co., Va., (Immigrant?) , was born about 1707 and died
1760/1781 in Henry Co., Va. According to William McC. Pritchett, he was born in England?
also, he would not be the son of James Daniel the First of Essex?
Is he the immigrant, or the brother of, Hugh DANIEL 1703-09, Peter DANIEL 1710, and the
children of the as yet un described Immigrant Daniel ? I don’t believe that John was the
son of James Daniel of Essex, the one who married Elizabeth? This Hugh is not the one who
I have been all over the Brunswick Daniels and am stumped as to the real Immigrant, born
in England or not. I do not believe there were two Peter Daniels (Sr) in the mix but one
large lineage. I now believe that my Ambrose Daniel was a son of Peter Daniel 1710 and
wife Sarah Randall. There were clues that I missed probably because I was mesmerized by
the Heinemann’s and such.
I will share the 16 page report upon request although I can not tell where Vicky stopped
and I began.
