One thing I did after looking at my information on Moses was I went back
and looked at what information I had on the EVERETT family. The only
EVERETT family I have is tied to the Zadoc DANIEL family of Granville and
later Wake County, NC.
However, I know there were EVERITTS in east-central GA, where this
DANIEL family migrated to before they moved to different locations in GA.
You might want to search for links to this name, too. Also, there were both
EVERETTS and EVERITTS in this Thomas County, GA marriage information. I
have never really looked at the EVERITT family of east-central GA because I
have never had any links to it but from what I remember they were a good
family and would meet the profile of this DANIEL bunch..
I also saw where an Isaac BANKS married an EVERETT girl in Thomas
County, GA and an Lewis BANKS married an EVERITT girl, so I will bet county
clerks were a little short on "spelling abilities" in these early Thomas
County, GA records, as if that has not already been said by many others,

Subject: [DANIEL-L] John C. Daniel
As I said earlier, I am now focusing on John C. Daniel b. 1832 son of
Daniel of Thomas Co., GA. I think there is a good possibly that he
father of Augustus Elijah Daniel.
I have not been able to learn much about him, but I have found a list of
who were in Company B (later changed to Company E), 29th Regiment,
County, "Ochlocknee Light Infantry". In the list is one J.C. Daniel;
is John C.. He was a private--August 27, 1861. He died at home in
Co., October 7, 1863. His son (?) Augustus Elijah would have been 7 years
I also found where a John Daniel married an Elizabeth in Thomas Co. on May
24, 1827, but the date is wrong for my John C.. My John C. did marry
with the first initial "E".
