Due to the overload of my web page gpdfla.googlepages.com
I have opened a companion site
to house larger family files. Since I have changed software to suit Mac there are some
coding additions that while not incorrect they are to be ignored as just annoying. I am
working on that. If there are changes or corrections or you would like add your family
please let me know. There has been some recent activity on the John Daniells of Barbados
and Oyster Point (Charles Town) and we are try to present them correctly. Any advice in
that regard would be appreciated, although the Family of Robert Daniell of Charleston, son
of a John Daniell in England, is no problem.
While I use software for Mac it is recommended that PC oriented researchers explore the
use of Legacy which is free. I do use both with the PC as a backup. It is sometimes
difficult to exchange info with folks who rely on notes and craps of info from various web
sites, and mixed up families as well.
So far as I know the DNA program has not linked my Ambrose Daniel of IOW and Halifax Co.,
NC., so that Is always of interested to me. My educated assumption is that he was in the
line of William of Caroline, but that is not set in stone. My appreciation goes out to
Ken Daniel in his management of the DNA program and I do try to stay in tough with that
phase of study.
Thanks for letting me bend your ear but I do like to stay in touch although I am sort of
semi-retired from fun of research.
Cheers, Payne in NW Tampa (TOC)
