Some quick help on the family you describe; there are some indexing/transcription errors.
The family is husband Drewry Daniel and wife Bernet/Bernice (I think she may be Bernice
Laffoon d/o of P. Garland Laffoon, but don't quote me, it's a gut guess after some
looking). The 1920 for her name is just really off at ancestry. He seems to be Drewry
Burnett Daniel based on the 1910 census w/his parents.
Drewry is the son of Edward H. Daniel and Kate Bell Stone.
Edward H. is the son of Mack Daniel and and Mary F. Laffoon.
Mack D. Daniel is the son of Joseph Daniel (b. ca 1800) and Betsy Laffoon.
A lot of Daniels marrying a lot of Laffoons!
You can see all the census and build these families at familysearch.org
(free account), as
well as some of the marriage recds naming parents. Edward H. is listed as E. H. or Eddie
through the years.

I find it odd another Bassell Daniel being in VA. much later
but still may be connected to Bassil Daniel of NC. Also there is a Basil Daniel on the
1820 census Campbell. county, VA. I think his father was Robert? The other 1920 census
names Robert A. Daniel as the father, Elma Daniel. Basil D. Daniel, Louise M. Daniel. and
Eric Va Daniel in Campbell county, TN. These families have to be connected in some way..
Who was the Drewey Daniel?
