Sure. My research indicates that the Puritans mainly settled in the north/northeast and
Anglicans (Episcopalian after the revolution) settled in the south. I found out that James
Daniel was a planter with a large plantation and divided up among his sons...along with
his "slaves." After the revolution, Anglicans became Episcopalians, but a lot of
them became Baptist/Methodist before/after the civil war. The Anglicans (Church of
England) were hostile to the Puritans.
