This is on the 1784-1787 (First) Census of North Carolina, Surry County
(aka Rowan, aka Anson), eastern portion later cut out to Stokes.
Question (to the the VA/NC experts) - When was the boundary between VA
and NC actually settled - like done deal?? I ask because the Absalom
Bostick taking this part of the Census was previously a Constable in
Pittsylvania Co, VA, aka Antrim Parish, VA. Did some of these people up
there end up in NC instead of VA???
