I have always been intrigued by the name, jamaca, that william daniel named one of his
farms in middlesex. Several years ago I saw an history channel show on henry morgan and
how he got to jamica. In 1650 henry gathered together about 200 adventurous lad an set
out in a bunch of ships from portsmouth and sailed to Jamaica. William could have been
in this bunch and by 1654 a lot of his lads had left him because his life style was not
theirs. William could have been one of these lads and it took him two kore years to reach
va. Just a thougght.

Thanks for the update. I remain interested in the Daniel family that moved from VA to KY
and then to TX. They would be James, Thomas, Andrew, and Thomas Wallace Daniel (one of my
I appreciate any information you might provide.

Good morning Daniel - List participants. After a 7 month hiatus at a
retirement community in Kisseeme, Florida, we decided that even at eighty years of age
this kind of living was not our cup of tea. So, we moved into a pastel colored apartment
unit just behind Disney's Grand Floridian and Disney University. Many Disney cast
members live in our apartment building giving us the youth factor that was missing in our
previous abode. And no golf carts to dodge either.
All that being said, and some may not care, we are up and at-them even with the
occasional Atrial Flutter that comes to some in the aging process. God has seen fit to
keep our minds in good repair and, although slowing down, we do keep our wits about us.
My two web pages can be reached at: gpdfla.googlepages.com
and I solicit any additions,
changes, errors, that need to be brought to my attention. Over the years Pam Miller has
been most helpful in keeping me on the straight and narrow. I did find it necessary to
retool my genealogical work to fit the Apple Computer and new Family Tree Maker 2
software. There are a few weird codes here and there but nothing that would disturb the
accuracy of the material.
I, personally, do not have a cell phone nor land line either. I do not Twitter or
Facebook, but my wife does, so there is no reason to duplicate communication efforts. I
have two email addresses but the iCloud address is the prime outlet.
I would like to know who is still interested in the Daniels of Caroline, Middlesex, South
Carolina, Virginia and such. I am in the process of writing 5 books that can be accessed
on a thumb drive or disc. In other words, the whole business will be that ready at hand.
