We have a Wright Daniel in our line, he was married to Caroline Gentry,
which is my great grandmother. Their daughter Mary Daniel was my
grandmother, who married George W Batey. Would anyone have information on

I am very interested in your post. Can you share the text of the Stewart
County will of BW Daniel? The reason I am so intrigued is that BW's son
BW was probably born after 1794 and died in 1827. Stranger things have
happened but I don't think he would have named two sons BW living in the
same time frame.
Your Right or Wright Daniel & Hardison likely came out of Martin County,
NC along with Luke & Mark Hardison, brothers out of Martin who married
Daniel girls from Martin as well as David Daniel, brother of Luke
Hardison's wife. These Daniel's all descend from Simon Daniel of Chowan
This family tended to congregate around Leatherwood Creek in Stewart,
wheras BW and his known family were on Hurricane Creek. However, Stewart
is so small that probably means nothing. I however don't believe these
folks are related to BW.
I have no idea where Benjamin Woodson Daniel is buried and can't confirm
the date he died. His RW pension record has an entry that says In 1884
