The record Robert sent is for Andrew M. Daniel, b. 1858, son of William
R. and Agnes C. Daniel. In 1880 he's with his parents in Marion GA. They
toggle between Marion and Sumter in the 1850-1920 census. But this
Andrew M. doesn't fit the migration you describe; he and wf
Hattie/Harriet (md. ca 1888) stay in GA and Andrew is dead by 1920 there.
Do you have any birth/death years or other i.d. info to help us look for
A. M. Daniel, wife's name, county in TX?
Pam in CA

Hello all. I need a bit of help here. I'm a DNA match with Anne
cousin Eugene Daniel. Seems Anne & Eugene are hard to contact but I have
this basic information:
"Eugene still thinks his great grandfather's name was Rev. A. M. Daniel,
from GA to Chambers Co., AL, then to TX by about 1900 or so, but I can't
find him anywhere in GA or AL (not in 1880 census of AL) by his name or his
Eugene is kit # 142535 in the Daniel DNA project. He is part of a group of
seven, five who have Bible and other known documented links to our family
who came from North Carolina to Tennessee about two hundred years ago. We
have, thanks to Pam and others on this list, traced the sixth Georgia member
back to 1825, but Eugene's 7th line is a still mystery. I have not been able
to find Rev. A. M. Daniel in any 1880 census.
Any help would be appreciated,
