Fulton or Cobb Counties - near Roswell. Wife Candace Emmaline SIMPSON
b.abt. 1851 d. 1919 buried County Line Cemetery, Brooks (Digby) GA.
Franklin DANIEL was killed in a stoning. There are two unmarked
graves next to Candaces Emmaline DANIELs grave. County Line
Christian Church did not keep cemetery records.
We have found record of marriage at Cobb County Courthouse for
Candace Emmaline SIMPSON b. 1851 d. 1919, m. Feb. 7, 1867 to
Atlas Algrine "Bud" DANIEL, Jr. b. 1848 d. (?). (spelled one "l")
We have reason to believe that Candace Emmaline SIMPSON was
married to both Franklin DANIEL(L) and Atlas A. DANIEL(L), Jr.
We are aware that there was an Atlas Algrine DANIELL b. 1817 in Clark
Also, on the 1880 Cobb County Census Emmaline DANIELL (spelled 2
"l's") is shown as head of household. 1880 Census shows
Atlas A. DANIELL, Sr. Head of household, and Benjamin DANIELL
Head of household. All three DANIELL families are shown in
succession on the 1880 Census page, which probably indicates they

is son of Franklin DANIELL according to Elishas DANIELs Death
Certificate and family members now deceased.

William P. DANIEL(L) b. May 5, 1876, d. Jan 25, 1921 wifes name was
Jimmie and shows his father as Attis DANIEL
Joel T. DANIEL(L) In 1910 Census shows his wife as Gussie
in Spalding County, GA. Moved to Florida(?).
We have been unable to find place of death for Franklin DANIEL(L)
and Atlas A. DANIEL(L), Jr. and we do not know anything prior to
Franklin and Atlas DANIEL(L).
Also, there is a story of a family member being awarded a piece of land
in one of the land lotteries. He walked 60 miles to discovered it was
part of a mountain. He traded the land for a horse, so I guess he rode
