This is a very interesting SC deed. The only Elias DANIEL I am aware of
is the Elias DANIEL born 1762 who was a son of Ensign Aaron DANIEL and
Elizabeth WHITFIELD. Aaron was the son of Thomas DANIEL and Elizabeth
Well, it seems there was more than on Elias DANIEL floating around SC in
that time frame and it could not be the aforementioned Elias DANIEL because
he was on 7 years old when this deed was filed. Notice also the deed refers
to the land he settled on when he first moved to SC.
With the mention of the WALKER surname in this deed this looks like to
me to be a relative of William DANIEL and Lucretia BELL of Edgefield because
the WALKERS were collateral with the DANIEL and BELL family of Edgefield.
