The following is for discussion only and not to be taken as fact. Its more
likely to be more fiction and hope than anything else. So please lets just
discuses this and see what jumps out.
There is a JAMES J. DANIEL he married an ANN MOY/MOYE/ or could be MOGG on
02 Jan 1840 in Pulaski County, Georgia
1. Does anyone have this line in their files? Did they have children if so
There is a JAMES J. DANIEL, he married a VICEY HODO 11 Feb 1852 Houston GA
2. Does anyone have this line in their files? Did they have children if so
The reason this pops up...There was a James J. Daniel who also signed up for
the Co. A I think it was for Alabama. I have to go back and check my notes
Now, the Daniel family I have been stuck on for a life time....
Might and that's a BIG MIGHT fit with this James J. Daniel if he in fact the
1860 Conecuh Cty Alabama
Children in the DANIEL HOME...
John b 1846
Mary b 1848
Thomas b 1850
Now, if James J. Daniel above is in fact their father and Ann Moy/Moye/Mogg
is their mother the age's are correct. If Ann died and James remarried in
1852 the following children would fit with her as well...
Martha b 1853
Susan b 1855
Rachel b 1856
Georgiana b 1859
The above children could very well be the children of James J. Daniel and
Vicey Hodo who married in 1852.
Again this is just for discussion and I have no hard fact's other than a
JAMES J. DANIEL married both ladies. Does anyone have JAMES J. DANIEL of
Pulaski County, Georgia area? Was his mother's name perhaps MATILDA?
I am open to all thoughts and suggestions on this whole mess. It makes
sense but then when you keep hitting your head on the brick walls just about
anything makes sense sometimes.
Looking forward to hearing from everyone
