Dear Connecticut, Illinois, Indiana, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, New
Hampshire, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Wisconsin
State, Assistant State, and County Coordinators:
My name is Tina Vickery, and I was nominated and accepted the nomination for
Northeast/North Central County Coordinator Representative in the upcoming
USGenWeb Project elections.
I look forward to opening a dialogue with each of you. The nomination was
based on the following qualifications:
"...service shall have been as a State Coordinator, Local Coordinator, or one
of the various positions associated with the Special Projects, respectively.
"In good standing" is demonstrated by responding promptly to email, actively
supporting researchers efforts to find information, maintaining their website
with appropriate, up-to-date content, and serving as a good example of the
guidelines and standards of The USGenWeb Project."
I have worked hard over the last few years to represent each of them.
I serve as the Assistant State Coordinator for the State of Maine, and serve
as County Coordinator for 3 of the 16 counties of Maine. I serve as the VT
USGenWeb Archives File Manager. I assist with ME USGenWeb Archives. I have
also taken on the role of coordinator for the USGenWeb Archives Pensions
Project. I also work with the Tombstone Transcription Project for the State
of Maine and New Hampshire.
I take whatever my role listed above very seriously, and regardless of my hat
that I am wearing, try to keep the visitors to my pages in mind. I work well
with other USGenWeb Project volunteers, and listen to my visitors as to what
they do and do not like about the USGenWeb Project pages I host. People who
work with me know that I am dedicated to the project and to the mission of
"providing free genealogical information on-line."
I look forward to working with all of you.
Sincerely,
Tina S. Vickery
Northeast/North Central County Coordinator Representative Nominee
