Thank you, George, for your many years of dedication and hard work with
CTGenweb--and with the USGenWeb National board. Is it really 12 years?
The years have flown by, since we all started, and it has been so wonderful
working with you.
You have always been responsive, calm and kind. I will miss your steady hand
at the helm.
My best wishes and sincere appreciation,
Maureen

Hello all,
I have decided to retire after 12 years as SC. New blood is needed
if we are to continue to grow and I'm getting tired.
According to the USGenWeb by-laws, we are required to have an
election to choose the new SC. The best way to do this is to ask the
USGenWeb Election Committee to run an election for us. By the way,
now that I am going to be "un-grandfathered" we will need to have an
election every year, which is what most of the other states already
do.
Thanks to all of you for all the years of excellent work-- many of
you have twelve years under your belt too.
The next you should hear of this is from the Election Committee which
will seek nominations, etc. My retirement will go into effect once
the new SC is elected.
Many thanks, George
Maureen Mead
