Hi,
Just a quick note. . .
I use the Creative Suite Pro collection of Design software for the Mac, as part of my
work.
Dreamweaver is a great application, but $$$$$.
I discovered an open-source application that works very like Dreamweaver, but it's
FREE.
For those who come from a more visual route to web development (I'm immersed in CSS,
even as I write),
this appears to be like Dreamweaver--in that you can run the program in view mode--but
also view the code as well and make changes--or completely write in code.
Anyway, check it out. From the

Finally, a top-notch WYSIWYG web page program for the rest of us! Now there's no need
to pay a little fortune for a program to create and edit great-looking web pages,
including powerful and easy to use CSS capabilities.
KompoZer is a complete Web Authoring System that combines web file management and
easy-to-use WYSIWYG web page editing capabilities found in Microsoft FrontPage, Adobe
DreamWeaver and other high end programs.
KompoZer is designed to be extremely easy to use, making it ideal for non-technical
computer users who want to create an attractive, professional-looking web site without
needing to know HTML or web coding.

Also, I'm
using Mozilla's Firefox.
There are some cool web development tools there, free to download.

I've added **Firebug to Mozilla and am playing with its many features.
Firebug integrates with Firefox to put a wealth of development tools at your fingertips
while you browse. You can edit, debug, and monitor CSS, HTML, and JavaScript live in any
web page... Firebug 1.2 requires Firefox 2 or 3.
And the **Web Developer Tool Bar Utility:

Anyway, I thought I'd pass it on in case you didn't already know about these free
tools.
