Hi, I have done a quick run through on the Middlesex County and town pages and no I have
been doing this for a long time myself and still with no formal training it shows. I only
have one other volunteer who has two of the towns. If you need some work done at the
other counties or on the state, let me know.

Hi, Everyone!
I had hoped to be updating a lot sooner, but the Advisory Board has been busy since the
USGenWeb Elections, and I just got confirmation from Denise Wells, the National
Coordinator, that CTGenWeb is not required to hold a formal election. YEY!
Maureen Mead and I talked on the phone yesterday, and although she's had a bumpy road,
she's looking forward to recovery. When she's feeling up to it, she'll be back
at the helm at Fairfield County CTGenWeb. Maureen, just know that we are thinking about
you, and appreciate all the work you have put into CTGenWeb!!!
I've redone some of the state pages, because I can't follow a professional web
designer! I collect vintage postcards, and scan and restore the images, and I thought it
would be fun to use a different postcard each month. I have some really nice cards from
different areas of Connecticut.

The next task is updating the membership roll, and it is a daunting task. I have
Maureen's most recent spread sheet, and she and I had a lot of communication before
she resigned. We know that some Town/Local Coordinators have left. I'll update to the
best of my ability, but if you know that someone is gone altogether, please let me know.
It will save time.
Thanks to you who have stuck around for so long. I joined in 1999, and it's
comforting to see the same names year after year.
