I checked the Stratford Star using my local library's subscription to News
Bank. she wasn't listed there.
I have had very good luck looking up the local library for the town where
the person lived and calling them for a look up. I use my Cell phone since
I have unlimited long distance. I have found a lot that way.
another thing you might do is check with RAOGK.com
they have volunteers
that will do things like that for you.
Then there is the possibility that there was no obit in the paper. Since at
least 1977 there has been a pretty steep change for placing these obits and
a lot of people choose not to have them. or the family does. My Dad's ran
over $200 and it didn't even have a picture.

Is there anyone on this list that could find an obituary for me? I have
tried every possible way that I know of without success but I am sure
obituary is out there somewhere.
The obituary I am seeking is for Audrey G. FREEDLAND, d. 16
June 2001. She
was b. 3 April 1918. Her residence at time of death was Stratford,
Co., CT. I believe she died in the Lord Chamberlain Nursing and
Rehabilitation Center in Easton, Fairfield, CT. She had a travel agency
Bridgeport and her husband Jerome had a business in Bridgeport.
