Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
I've "rescued" an old photograph of Royal Elting MYGATT which was taken at
the F. C. Langhorne Studio in Plainfield, NJ. Royal was one year old at the
time the photograph was taken. His birthdate was identified as 10 Dec 1907.
Based on limited research I was able to locate the following information
regarding Royal and his family:
Royal Elting MYGATT was b. 10 Dec 1907 in Plainfield, NJ to parents Frederic
Eli MYGATT (1871-1942) and Elizabeth "Bessie" DANIELS (1872-1947). Royal
had three siblings including, Frederic Eli Jr.; Henry Daniels; and Philip or
Phillip Faxon MYGATT, all born between 1897 and 1911. Royal married Katrina
Sanford AUCHINCLOSS (1907-1991) and together they had a son, Samuel G.
MYGATT (1943-2010) and three other children. Royal entered into the New
York Guard in 1934 in New York City, NY. Royal died 31 Mar 1948 in
Stamford, CT and is buried in the Center Cemetery in New Milford, CT.

Royal E. MYGOTT, son, age 22, born NY, parents born CT/NY
Philip F. MYGOTT, son, age 18, born NJ, parents born CT/NY
I'm hoping to locate someone from Royal's family so that this wonderful old
photograph can be returned to the care of family. If you are a member of
