I've "rescued" an old photograph identified as William Oliver QUARTLEY which
appears to have been taken 20 Mar 1882 with William's age noted as 3 years.
There is no studio or location noted on the photograph. Based on limited
research I was able to locate the following information regarding William
and his family:
William Oliver QUARTLEY was b. 22 Oct 1876 in Brooklyn, NY to parents
William Jay or James QUARTLEY (1848-1917) and Mary C. DONAHUE (b. 1837).
William had one sister Jeanne Florence QUARTLEY VAN WINKLE (1879-1954) and
he married Ida Maude ANGELL (b. 1868) on 24 Jun 1908. William died 19 Nov
1950 in Danbury, CT.
I am hoping to be able to return the photograph to family. If you are a
member of this family, or you know someone who might be, please contact me.
