I would like to make contact with anyone whose ancestors were Irish and
came to Bridgeport, particularly those who came anywhere from 1880 to 1910,
or thereabout. I have done extensive research in the Bridgeport City
Directories on my direct ancestral lines and some collateral lines. I know
where my ancestors came from in Ireland. I would like to try to sort out
the different familes, i.e., identify the Kellys that came from Kerry,
Galway, Down, etc. Those that came from Kerry (as mine did) are probably
related, likewise for other counties. The city directories are a great
resource and have so much more information to offer. I would love to hear
from anyone who has any information or is looking for information.
