Looking for information regarding the Civil War service of Andrew Jackson Smith who was born 6 Oct 1839 in Pound Ridge, NY and died 20 Dec 1914 in Bridgeport, CT. He was a physician and was buried at the Mountain Grove Cemetery in Bridgeport, CT. I am also looking for Brennan's in Danbury. I just found out that my husband's grandfather was William Patrick Brennan and not William T. Brennan as was listed on his wife's death certificate. I wonder if our Brennan's may be related or the same family?
Our William Patrick Brennan married Mabel Louella Wilcox and they had 4 children - Ernest W., James, Raymond J. and Jeanette. Our William was probably born in the 1880's and we know he was injured in "the war" (not sure if WW1 or WW2). He died in a VA Hospital around Christmas time but not sure of the year.
Does anyone know the maiden name of Margaret, wife of Isaac Hayes, Jr. of Norwalk? Isaac was born 23 March 1706, son of Isaac and Elizabeth (Sherwood) Hayes. Isaac and Margaret had Isaac, 3rd (m. Ann Thatcher), Freegift (m. Mary Sherwood), Samuel, John, Stephen, Peter and Mary.
Also am looking for dates of death of Isaac and Margaret.
