Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
Honor, you state, "Only John Conklin (2) of Southold can be documented knowing the people involved in the latter two deeds, Rye and the Manor of Fordham. " I agree, John Conklin is documented in the two deeds, Rye and the Manor of Fordham. However, nothing says that it is the John Conklin from Southold and I have not seen credible evidence saying that it is. There was no need for an errata to be published related to the TAG article so of course, it was not published. It was carefully and exhaustively researched and vetted by professional genealogists and historians. You have stated your opinion on this article repeatedly. I also need to point out that putting an article on the internet does not make it true.

I found the following note, created 5 years ago, reading Rootsweb email.
Is this still a true statement?
"At this point persons with a 17 at marker DYS464e appear to be most likely
to be descendant of Nicholas Conklin and Sarah Hunt and persons with an 18
at marker DYS464e appear to be most likely to be descendants of John
Conklin Jr. and his wife Mehitable or Lydia."
If so what/who was the source of this interpretation? I have a 17 marker.
Thanks
