Jacob Hoyt b. Jun 16, 1718 married Nov 21, 1743 Margaret Coleman.
Hoyt history says they were both from Rumford (now Concord) New Hampshire
I'm trying to identify Margaret Coleman.
There is a Margaret Coleman b. 5 Dec 1723 d/o Joseph Coleman and Margaret.
Could this Margaret be the one who married Jacob Hoyt?
Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanking you in advance.

Does anyone have Mary COLEMAN who married Richard GRAY in their ancestry?
Mary was born about 1803 in New Jersey, married Richard GRAY before 1825 in
New Jersey and died 02 March 1871 in Castile, Wyoming Co., NY.
Richard and Mary and Richard's parents and sibling migrated from Washington
Twp., Morris Co., NY between 1825 and 1826 to Livingston Co., NY.
There is a Samuel COLEMAN living near the GRAY family on the 1830 Livingston
Co., NY census who could be old enough to be Mary's father.
Can anyone help me with Mary COLEMAN's parent and siblings?

I think you must be trying to join the genealogy chat message board
which
you will get DENIED getting access to it if you are not a registered

obtain
access to that board.
I suggest those of you who been having problems getting registered for
the
genealogy chat to contact the site webmaster at
genealogylookup(a)gmail.com.
However, I think I may be able to help a little since I visit there
often. I
feel that some of you are trying to register for the genealogy chat

board and not the actual chat room itself.
The genealogy chat and the chat message board are two totally different
things. There is a huge square on the genealogy chat page where the chat
room is located. That is where you would register for the chat room.
Double
Click on "create a new user account" and fill out the form.
If you are not seeing this, it is possible that you will need to update
your
sun java on your computer.
If you are clicking on the on the gray button below that chat room that
says
- chat members ONLY message board - that is the genealogy chat message
board
for the chat members. It is not available to the general public. If you
registered on it and are not a member of the chat room, you will be

You are right. You will soon enough will know and then once you are
registered for the chat account, you will find out there is nothing "sneaky"
going on. It is so sad that people jump to conclusions and make assumptions
about something they have no clue what they are talking about.
You will really feel bad about your comments once you visit the genealogy
chat. I would not suggested it to people if it was not a legit chat or
something I am proud to be a member.

You are not dumb at all. It is sorta tricky or confusing on how to get a
chat account registered. Overall, it can be a good thing. It helps keep out
those unwanted visitors whose only plan in mind is to come in and disrupt
the room.
We have a saying in the chat room. There are no dumb questions asked. The
only dumb question there are, is those questions not asked.

LOL!!!! It suits us members just fine too. The chat hosts do not put up with
attitude problems. Those people who come across snotty or just want to come
in to cause problems find themselves outside trying to look in.

I believe on the chat room page it explains how to register an account. Go
check out their frequently asked questions page.
http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~genealogylookup/faq.html
I think the register process is a great idea. It helps keep out the trouble
makers, spammers. The chats are moderated. So if there is any trouble with a
chat member, they tend to ban them from the room.
There are over 500 members and everyone is friendly and help one another in
research.
