I am not a Coleman researcher; however, yesterday while walking through the
old Mt. Zion Cemetery at Akron, Alabama (Hale County), we found a grave for
the following Willie J. Coleman. The cemetery is located about 1 to 2 miles
South of Akron. I hope that someone can use the information.
Willie J. Coleman
4/3/18?? (I could not read the last two numbers)
9/28/1874
I do not know if these might be any of your lines or not. I found them at
www.Abebooks.com
Just did a search on author "Coleman". There would probably be a lot more
hits in titles, or keywords.
Good luck.

These subjects are covered in "A History of the Juniata Valley" which is out
of print, but which the Indiana, PA library has on file.
Tommy (1748-1837) is buried in a cemetary next to the Thelma Coleman Smith
farm at RD #4, Altoona, PA 16601.
Michael was killed by Indians near a Fort in W. VA.
They seem to have originated in the New England area.
Sorry about the little pieces of info. I descend from Chas. Coleman, b Kent
County, MD in 1763. I do not connect with Thomas (Old Coley) and Michael
Coleman.
FYI---Richard F. Coleman, N. Canton, OH
To All:
I would also be interested in this book if it is available anywhere. I would
like to purchase the book if there is one available. Please let me know.
Thanks

Apologies if this has already been discussed. I did
search the list archives and could not find an answer.
My name is Debbie Wood and I am from the long
sometimes tangled line of COLEMAN in VA.
I sent to DAR for info on this Daniel Coleman and
received this reply. My intention was to learn if

the Revolutionary War?
My query and DAR reply below:
