Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
I want to say "thank you" on this day set aside for that purpose. Thanks to all who so generously give of their time and resources to help others in their search for their past. So often we pick up information from emails and never bother to say thank you so today I want to let all listers know that they are truly appreciated.
Happy Thanksgiving!!!
Gwen
Dorthy, You didn't mention dates...but I have a Will COLEMAN, b. 1834 in
TN , fought for the Confederacy, then according to family lore, after the
war he moved to Texas. He is the brother of my great-grandfather, Thomas
COLEMAN, b. 1836 in TN. Their parents were Obediah COLEMAN and Lucinda
WILLIFORD. Any of your COLEMAN'S from Tennessee? Peace and Happy hunting,
Barb in FL
