I learned an interesting fact, I hope someone sees a connection to the families. My grandfather was born in Parker CO. TX 1801 around "Dido" north of Azel. he was named Finesse Elmo Coleman. I learned that in McKinney TX a town east of Azel and north of Dallas another Finesse Elmo Coleman lived and was a barber I don't know when he was born but was alive mid 1900. My Coleman family left very little information and what was family records was destroyed by a flood decades ago. I hope someone can help. I know the R.E. Coleman from McKinney had a brother that lived around Palestaine, TX. When he died someone phoned my Uncle Elmo looking for him. My family verbal history has this Coleman family coming from Wales around 1700. This is not proven.
What was decided about DNA testing? I had to stop my search due to health, I am back searching for my roots.
