Trying to find information on William Gus Coleman. Trying to find link between him and Willie B. Coleman. Any help you could give would be appreciated. Please respond to Janboyde(a)aol.com
Would appreciate any information on g-g grandmother Sarah Lawson Coleman b. Feb. 22, 1827 Allegheny County, Pennsylvania and d. Aug. 19, 1902 Denver, Colorado. She married David Marcus Barnes from Westmoreland County Pennsylvania on May 28, 1845. According to her obituary notice she had 2 sisters and 1 brother ( not named) and no mention of her parents. Could her Lawson name be from her Mother? Thank you. Charles Hosler.

Hello
I can't remember who on this list spelled their Coleman name as Colman
without the "e" , But I was looking for Colemans, Kulman or Colman who arrived in
New York on a ship and found the info listed below on Olive Tree:
Ships arriving in 1762 no ships name but has a Michael
Colman.
Maybe this little bit of info may help someone.

I have seen Colman spelled without the "e" although that has not been the
case so far in my family. Maybe I should consider searching for that spelling in
PA and Delaware.....I wonder if my family arrived in New York and traveled
then to PA then the "trek" to OH in 1833 or 1834. They were in OH by 1840 for
sure.

My Grandfather was a Colmon. When my Uncle went in the service they changed
the spelling to Coleman. Is there anybody on the list that has the spelling
Colmon anywhere in their line?
Thank you,
Marva
I was on a One Great Family - Coleman group and don't know what happened to my membership when I changed e-mail addresses - can anyone help me get back in? I need a password to get back in and don't remember it.
Thanks,
