Still searching for siblings and parents of Annie Coleman. According to
census records, she was born about 1879 in MO. In 1895 she lived in
Reyno, Randolph Co., AR. She married John Icenogle in Corning, Clay
Co., AR in 1895. Lived in Nelson twp., Clay Co., AR in 1900 and 1910.
Family stories told indicate that she died around 1918 in an epidemic.
Found her husband, John Icenogle, living in Ripley Co. MO., widowed in
1920. Have checked MO and AR for death certificate for Annie (Coleman)
Icenogle, but both states report no record for her death.
Thanks,
Cathy
Hi,
I am 14 years old and am working on my genealogy project for 4-H.
My COLEMAN's are as follows:

The family came to US and settled in Chicago, IL about 1870. I am not
sure where they lived in England. I have a picture of the Sansford

this is where Ann GRANTHAM's family is from.

I just wanted to thank all of you for all the help you have given me. I
have connected with many cousins and have extended several lines. I am
unsubscribing to all of the rootsweb surname lists as I have other
pressing things which are forcing me to take a hiatus. I hate to do
this, because, like most of you, this is my passion. I hope to be back
in about six months.
If I can be of help, please feel free to contact me. Ya'll have been
wonderful.
Hal Bradley
Received this, and am hoping someone can connect?!

I noted your surname information while searching for the COLEMAN name in VA.
Am attempting to locate information regarding Ann (Nancy) COLEMAN, daughter
of Samuel and Nancy (WRIGHT) COLEMAN and granddaughter of John (dec. 1779)
and Anne PRYOR.
Ann (Nancy) was born c1764 in Buckingham Co, VA. She died before October
11, 1807 in Botetourt Co, VA. Her body was returned to Buckingham Co for
burial. In c1796 she married James WOOLDRIDGE who was born in 1760 in
Chesterfield Co, VA. James died before October 11, 1839 in Prince Edward
Co, VA.
Ann (Nancy) and James had at least 4 children, John James born c1797 in
Prince Edward Co, Va, Rebecca born c1800 in VA, Samuel C. (probably for
COLEMAN) c1803 in VA and Nancy bor c1805 in VA.
It is not known if Ann and James were living in, visiting or passing through
Botetourt Co, VA. when she died, nor if James remarried, had other children
or when he returned to Prince Edward Co.
If any of these names are familiar, I would appreciate any information -
direction - suggestions you may have to offer.
Thank you for your courtesy.

I am researching the Coleman Family (mine) in Arkansas. My
great-grandfather's name was Will (my dad thinks) and his wife was Eliza
Jane Edson. They lived supposedly in the Izard County area in the late
1800's. They had two son's I know of, one was my grandfather, Aaron
Coleman, and the other Earl Coleman. Any information would be
appreciated. Thanks,
Rick
I need advice. I found my Francis Coleman in Pendleton Co., KY. He died
there in 1821. I wrote to the county court house for the probate records,
but they won't respond unless I have a reference number. Does anyone have
any suggestions on how to get the appropriate number to obtain the records.
Also believe Francis Coleman was the son of Francis Coleman & Hannah Johnston
from Caroline Co., VA. Any info anyone would be willing to share to help me
prove the relationship between these two Francis' would be greatly
appreciated. Kathy
Dear friend,
I saw your note posted on the COLEMAN list and have always been interested in
the same question.
All I've ever seen has been the info in the 1898 book by S.B. Coleman which I
assume you have seen. He claims Thomas had three wives, 1st Susannah ____;
2nd was Mary, the widow of Edmond Johnson and then 3rd was Mary Asbourne,
daughter of Philip Fowler, widow of Thomas Rowell who had been widow of
Christopher Osgood.
All very complicated. Furthermore, the book I copied has a pencilled in
"wrong" written over the 1638 date for Tobias. I've know idea what is
correct as I was interested in chasing another son from whom I descend, John.
Please let me know what you learn about Thomas's parents or wives. You may
wish to post it to the list.
Best regards,
Don Wester

I have a marriage of John Yates and Ann Coleman in 1785 VA (possibly
