Mrs. Oma Todd Colegrove, 74,
Wellsville, died at Ransom
Memorial Hospital yesterday
morning. She was a patient
there a week.
She was born April 23, 1884,
near Wellsville, daughter of
Stacy and Amanda Akers Todd.
She was a graduate of Wells-
ville High school and was
married in 1903 to Eli Cole-
grove, who died in 1942. She
was a lifelong residen of the
Wellsville area and was a
member of the Wellsville Baptist
Church and Eastern Star, of
which she was a past matron.
Surviving are a daughter,
Miss Faye Colegrove, Wellsville;
a son Louis Colegrove, Wells-
ville; three sisters, Mrs. Effie
Holmes, Ottawa; Mrs. Glenna
Eckerson, Wellsville; and Mrs.
Marie Hill, Pacioma, Calif.;
and two brothers, Ernest Todd,
Pleasanton; and Merle Todd,
Wellsville.
Funeral services will be
tomorrow at 2 p.m. in Wells-

Great Bend, Dec 13. -- Elmer Colegrove,
24, associated with his father, Herman
Colegrove, in the Great Bend Typewriter
Exchange, died at a local hospital two
hours after being taken there for treatment
for pneumonia.
He had been ill only two days. He was a
corporal in the National Guard unit here.
The funeral was held this afternoon at
the Methodist church.

84, Elwood, died Tuesday, Oct.
19, 1999, at a Wathean nursing
home.
Mrs. Colegrove was born Ivah
L. Jones on April 30, 1915, at
rural Norton County. She was
a teacher for 36 years, re-
tiring in 1979 after five years
at the Elwood School. She was
a Methodist and attended Elwood
United Community Church. She
was a member of the Community
Club of Elwood.
Her husband Morton, died in
1982.
Survivors include a daughter,
Margaret Tiller of Elwood;
three brothers, Paul Jones and
George Jones, both of Norton
and Leonard Jones of Engles,
Colo.; and a sister, Frances
Bower of Las Vegas.
A service will be at 7 p.m.
today at Harman Hohde Funeral

taffeta dress, matching hard and
carried a prayer book topped with
pink camellias.
Matron of honor was Mrs. John
Colgrove, Orlando, Sister in law of
the bride, who wore a coral net over
taffeta dress and carried a nosegay
of sweetheart roses.
James L. Colgrove, Holly Hill,
brother of the bride, was best man,
John Colgrove, Orlando, another
brother, was usher.
The bride's mother wore a green
net dress and a corsage of pink and
white flowers.
There was a reception afterward
at the James Colgrove home, 115 4th
St.
Out of town guests were the Bride's
son and daughter in law, Mr. and Mrs.
L. J. Tromater, Urbana, Ill.; Mr. and
Mrs. Thurman Atkinson, W. Va., and
Mrs. Katherine Kline, Miami.
For traveling the bride changed into
a white wool dress.
The couple will tour Florida for a
wedding trip and afterwards live at

The new Mr. and Mrs. Thacker
will have a wedding trip to Columbus,

making their home in Alexandria, Va.
The Bride was graduated from
Riverview High School in 1961 and

Park Blvd., Venice, and Mescosta,
Mich., died Wednesday at Roches-
ter, Minn.
Born in Elmore, Mich., he was a
resident of Royal Oak, Mich., for
32 years until 1968. A graduate
of the University of Michigan, he
was owner and founder of Lytell
and Colegrove Inc., and of Macomb-
Oakland Supply Co. He was a
veteran of World War I, a member
of the American Legion, First
United Methodist Church of Royal
Oak, and B.P.O.E. 1274 in Venice.
He leaves a wife, Mrs. Nea Cole-
grove; two sons, James A. and Owen
T. Colegrove both of Royal Oak; a
brother, Forrest Colegrove of
Clearmont, Fla.; and nine grand-
children.
The funeral service will be at
10:30 a.m. Saturday at the William
Sullivan and Son Funeral Home in
Royal Oak, Mich. Cremation will
follow. The family suggests in lieu
of flowers a memorial gift to the
American Cancer Society.

Mr. Agustin Sarabia, 61, of Yuma, died
October 27, 1997, at his home.
He was born November 5, 1935, in Sinaloa,
Mexico and moved to this country in 1950,
becoming a US citizen on may 9, 1992.
Mr. Sarabia was former resident of Well-
ton having resided there for 35 years
until moving to Yuma 3 years ago. While
living in Wellton, he was employed by
Wagner Ranches and Otondo Farms. Prior
to retiring, he was employed by the Yuma
Union High School District.
He was a member of the Immaculate
Conception Catholic Church, a dedicated
husband, father and grandfather. He was
also an avid gardener who brought joy to
may through his sharing of roses from his
garden.
Mr. Sarabia is survived by his wife of
36 years, Francisca; daughters and sons-
in-law Luz Maria and Brian Grossenburg,
Francesca and Michael Colegrove, and Ana
Bella and Edward Quintana; granddaughters
Maggie Francesca and Brianne. Survivors
als include a sister Manuela Ramirez of
San Luis, Mexico.
A wake will be held from 5 to 9 p.m.,
with Rosary at 7 p.m. Thursday at Johnson
Mortuary Chapel. Burial will be Friday
with a Requiem Mass at 10 a.m. at the
Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
Pallbearers will be Brian Grossenburg,
Michael Colegrove, Edward Quintana, Frank
Colegrove, Francisco Sodaro and Jesus
Felix.
