Boy killed on Olean Grade Crossing.
Roy Colegrove of Olean, aged seven
years, was instantly killed at the
Third street crossing of the Penns-
ylvania railroad while returning
home from school Tuesday noon. The
street is crossed by a dozen or more
tracks and is so dangerous that the
council has arranged to close the
crossing and have the railroad build
a foot bridge over it. When the
children were crossing the tracks
the flagman's attention was directed
to a switch engine, and the Oil
City train crept up unperceived on
the boy and cut him to pieces.
