Commedore Perry Colegrove was my great-grandfather. He was the son of
Hamilton Colegrove and Mary Wells, born in Boyd County KY in 1887, but moved
with his parents and family to Hocking County Ohio where his father died in
1904. Commedore operated a grocery store in Athens Ohio for many years
before retiring to Arizona.
His second wife Florence Payne outlived him by many years; I found records
of her still living around 2002.

E. O. Osgood is Rowena Charlotte Colegrove wife of Edmond O. Osgood. SO..... which nephew is this? Rowena is 1 of 12 children, but, 4 can be
eliminated, since they are the daughters of Parke Colegrove. and 3 passed young in life, 1 lived in IL. that leaves John and Edwin..
John (11 children, 6 girls 5 boys)
William Perry - 1838 - ?
John Franklin - 1843-1860
James - 1850-1850
Albert - 1857-1934
Henry - 1858-1905
Caleb (8 children, 3 girls 5 boys) moved to IL and all kids born there.
Orlando - 1841-1841
George - 1844 - ?
Jasper - 1848-1855
James - 1853- ? lived in CA per 1920 census
John - 1856-? Lived in IL per 1920 census
Edwin (12 children 5 girls and 7 boys)
Franklin - 1843 - ?

Franklin - 1858-1865
Dealt - 1860 - ?
George - 1863 - ? alive per 1920 census
