Overdose Caused Death.
Warren J. Colgrove, formerly arailway mail clerk, died at hishome in Grand Rapids of laudanumpoisoning. He was walking down Monroe street when he suddenlyfell to the sidewalk and was taken home in the ambulance. Itwas found that he was poisoned and he grew gradually worse untilhe died. A few months ago Colgrove was dismissed from the sevice because it was discoveredthat he has attempted to sell arailroad pass given him by oneof the companies. The matter wasreported to the company and thento the department, resulting inhis discharge. Since then he has been in hard luck and with a familyon his hands. His widow, however insists that his death was not asuicide, but that he was in the habit of taking laudanum to relieve pain and that he must havetaken an overdose.
