Happy Thanksgiving!
I am looking for information on Susannah TAYLOR (1748-1822) who married
Mager/Mayer/Major COLGROVE (1759-1830). I have heard that this couple had
ties in Foster, RI and also with the DAVIS family.
My ancestor, Francis TAYLOR (1793-1877) (son of Timothy and Rosannah TAYLOR;
grandson of Thomas TAYLOR & Lydia CAPWELL), married Savalla DAVIS
(1795-1853)of Foster, RI. They were in Otsego Co., NY, along with the
Colgroves, in the late 1700s and early 1800s. I suspect that Susannah
(TAYLOR) COLGROVE may be closely related to Thomas and Timothy TAYLOR.
If James Gibbs does not subscribe to this list, can someone forward this
query to him or provide me with his email address so that I can contact him
directly?
Many thanks,
Kim

Evening all,
Welcome to the new ones on the Colegrove mail list. Sorry about taking so
long to add you all, been busy with work since the 11th.
I would like to thank James Gibbs for all the research he has done in RI on
Francis Colegrove. Digging through 300 years of dust can take time.
I plan on updating the web page again in Dec. I don't have an exact date of
when yet but I'll let you all know.
Happy Thanksgiving.
Terry Colegrove
