Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
I just subscribed to the list. Thought I would post my husband's family.
We do not have too much on his line yet, but I see some possibles on the
Genforum and the mailing list archives. Did my eyes deceive me or have
there only been 4 postings this year?
Guess this makes 5. <g>
His earliest proven ancestors are Malvina Colegrove and Barber J. Cardner,
married about 1830 in Truxton, Cortland County, New York.
So far I only know of one son, our line, Dr. Iretus Greene Cardner.
>From what I could see on Terry Colgrove's great web page, the Greene is from
Malvina's mother, Judith Greene. He practiced medicine in New York City.
I am most interested in some of the info I have seen. It gives me some
direction. My husband is even getting interested enough to drag out some
old pictures. He just wants me to do the research.
Will be glad to share information with others of this line.
