Evening All,
Some of you may get this twice, if you do sorry. I have to adjust my
mail list. Please pass this to any other family member.

Well, Max transferred the Colegrove listing and all to me about a
year ago. Since that time I've added some and deleted some names to
the listing. I know Max did various things to keep all of us
stimulated. A little of what is going on;
Me, I had a great year managing a minor league team, I managed
the ML Giants, of the South Berkeley Little League. We finished the
season 12-4. Best record, but 3rd in the tournaments. A month before
the end of the ball season, my son was drafted up the the Little League
"A's" that ment I was managine ML, he was in LL, and my daughter was
playing LL softball. Whew, keep up with THAT one.. :-)
Began the think we lived at the fields. Well, now that ball season is
over.
I'm back to prusing the Internet via the search engines. Planning a
trip to the National Archives (what I find will be added to the web
page).
My brother Robert and his wife Jamie, have a new addition to the
family, Justine Colegrove, born in 1997. (old news but have not
mentioned it before.. :-) she turns 1 year old within the month)
29 Aug. my grandparents Edson Colegrove & Eula (Paris)
Colegrove, are having a family reunion, in PA. I plan on filling in
blanks on my lineage, and hope to stop by the library again. I will let
you all know how it goes.
Mike Colegrove, is currently working in the Republic of Georgia
with the dept. of Agriculture. For a summer vacation he is visiting
England and hopes to visit area in Wales. With luck, he may find some
information out for all of us. I'll keep you all posted.
Jean Thiel has informed me she has a few books left, if there is
enough interest, she will do a second print of the book. If you would
like a copy, drop her a line at jjoner(a)bright.net of drop me a line
and I'll pass it on to her.
Note:
My web page is;
www.geocities.com/heartland/hills/5698
mail list;
COLEGROVE-L(a)rootsweb.com
If anyone has anything they want me to include in any future mailings,
let me know at Taz468(a)ix.netcom.com. I hope to send this out 1-2 times
a month. I will be adding the Colegrove.ged file to my web page also
in the near future. I plan on updating the web page too, I have
another 100 names added to it. I got a good portion of my wifes
lineage. (Miller) That's a fun one to research.. :-)
Till later,
Terry Colegrove
Dear Cousins,
Mike Colegrove (of Tbilisi, Georgia) here. I am leaving for England
next week. I will be there until Friday, August 28th.
I have tried to contact Timon Colegrove in Oxford but got an
"undeliverable" message. Timon (or any one else) can you contact me
with your correct e-mail? Also a phone number.
As for the rest of you, is there anything/anyone I can tried to look
up (genealogy-wise) while I am there? I will be in Kent, London,
Oxford...and maybe Swansea, Wales. Time, depth of study (and my
pocketbook) will determine how much I can do.
Cheerio,
Mike
