Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
Just a note to let you know that I will be changing my e-mail address in the
near future. My new e-mail address will be ces(a)futureone.com
This should not effect the list in anyway. I just wanted you to know my new
address in case you need to contact the list owner.

Hi All,
In 1894, William Colegrove published a book, "History and Genelaogy of the
Colegrove Family in America." Mr. Colegrove tried to include all of the
Colegrove/Colgrove families in America--from the lst, Francis Colegrove of
RI to the time of publication. His book is available on microflim at all
LDS Family History Centers. It will have to be ordered in from Salt Lake.
The film number is 557878. If you do not know where your nearest LDS Family
History Center is, let me know--I can tell you.
Jean Colgrove Thiel is updating this book. She says that she intends to sell
the book at her cost. You can contact her at jjoner(a)brightnet.com
Good hunting,
Max Colgrove

Hi
I'm interested in exchanging information with anyone researching the
Jonathan COLEGROVE who migrated from RI to Chenango Co NY and then to
McKean Co PA (1815). He took 14 New England families with him to PA. I'd
like to find out who they were. (I'm researching BREWER, CURTIS, GUNNING)
Thank you!

I received the following information on the status of what is happening on
the list.
"We began migrating the lists to the new operating system last
night, and at this point I *think* Karen and I have properly
moved everything.
"We're going to do a little more local testing, then we'll
start processing real mail.
"You can expect only a very small trickle that may be interrupted
frequently for most of the afternoon. By tonight we hope to be
back in full operation and busy flushing the queue of posts which
have accumulated."
