Can someone give me some detail about these folks, such as where they lived
and died?
I am pursuing my Kimmey family, various members of which were named
"Mason." These folks also married with the Cole family, and I'd love to find the
roots of those folks too. My focus is NC and SC to Alabama approx 1750 -
1825.
Mason Creed Kimmey married Sarah Cole, daughter of Thomas Delorum Cole,
1845 in Coffee County, Alabama.
John Mason Kimmey, father of Mason Creed Kimmey, was born Onslow County, NC
in 1801.
Any leads on the Masons, Kimmeys and Coles will be greatly appreciated.

I show they had a son named Charles, born 1760, but I have no other
information on him. I show that Joseph Cole died 1785 and Freelove in
1792, so the one mentioned in another post as born in 1800 or so couldn't
be
the same one as yours.
That said, I have no proof that he had a son named Charles. He is listed
in
family trees. Some documents say Joseph and Freelove only had 7 children.
His will only mention Joseph, Hugh, Elizabeth and Ledy (Lydia) along with
wife Freelove.

Did this couple have a son named Charles who was b. about 1760. If they
did, does anyone have an info on him.
