I have COLE in my line and I am at a loss to go further back. My
GGrandfather William was born in 1828 to Thomas b 1791 and Kity? 1802
(maiden name unknown) somewhere in Ireland. The family emigrated to
England
during the famine as I found them on the census in 1851. Shortly after
that
William came to the US and settled in Brooklyn and married a Lydia Chaunc
ey
in 1894. They had 9 children, 2 died in infancy and there was a David b
1868. The family did live in NJ for some time.
