Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb

Mary Evelyn Testerman Cole, 81, passed away October 2, 2008. Born March 6, 1927 in Sudan, TX, she was married to E. Larry Cole for 54 years. He preceded her in death on April 1, 2001. She was a homemaker and community volunteer. She was a campfire leader and volunteered at community hospitals and the Carrollton senior center. She also worked for the Dallas Times Herald newspaper for 10 years; she was a member of Beta Sigma Phi service sorority for 50 years. She was an extremely generous and loving person who loved to travel. She traveled to many states and countries with family and friends. She was an avid sports fan especially of the Texas Rangers, Dallas Cowboys and Dallas Mavericks. She is survived by: 2 brothers, George C. Testerman and Doyle Testerman; 1 sister, Betty Umphress. Two daughters; Dianne (Cole) and husband Michael Johnson and Teresa (Cole) and husband Harold Harris. Two grandchildren: Jeremy Michael and wife Carole Johnson and Jordan Cole Johnson !
and one great granddaughter, Ella Loren Johnson. Visitation will be held at Rhoton Funeral Home, Tuesday evening, October 7, 2008, 6-8 pM and funeral service will be held Wednesday, October 8, 2008 at the Nor’Kirk Presbyterian in Carrollton, TX, internment immediately following at Little Elm Cemetery, Little elm, TX
