Sarah COLE m. twice. First marriage to Unk. HINES. Marriage prob. in AR.
One child, James Edward, b. Apr 1887.
Sarah COLE HINES married second to Moses Francis JOHNSON 18 May 1903,
Independence Co. AR. Sarah and Moses had the following children: Sarah
Elizabeth, Winnie Mae, Easter Cordelis, Elnora Alabeth, Lensy Theodore and
Alfred Lee.
Moses JOHNSON d. 1924 in Douglas Co MO. Sarah Frances d. in Oct 1970 in
Sanger, CA. Believe she lived with either children or grandchildren.

WHEREAS, Walnut Fork Baptist Church proudly celebrates its 200 year history
of spiritual comfort and service to its congregation and the people of
Jackson County; and
WHEREAS, on May 29, 1802, at the home of Joseph Thompson, Sr., in Jackson
County, the following men and women formed a church for the purpose of
religious worship:

SIMEON COLE married ELIZABETH SHERMAN. They were natives of Waterbury, Conn.
She was a near
Relation of ROGER SHERMAN, of revolutionary memory. They settled in
Stanstead County in 1798. Two of their sons , Asa and Thomas, settled near
Brown's Hill.
ASA COLE, B. in St. Johnsbury, Vermont, September 15, 1790, m. LOUISA DODGE,
B. October 14, 1790. They settled on the south part of No. 25, 9th range of
Stanstead. He d. January 26, 1833; she d. August 4, 1851.
