I am looking for information on a Reuben Cole born in the mid to late 1860's.
He married Elizabeth Ellis and had a daughter, Eva Magdeline Cole. They
were from somewhere in England.
Eva Magdeline Cole was born 11 May 1887; married Walter Scott Grear in 1905
in New Jersey.
If anyone has any information on these people, please contact me. Thanks!

My ancestor Mathew Cole b. 1774, Maryland. Migrated to Lee Co., VA., and
purchased land there in 1807. Then migrated to Owsley Co., KY., appearing
on the 1850 Census. Any record of a Mathew Cole? Wife, Catherine.
Interested in finding siblings and parents of Mathew.

Anybody connecting to Cole's from Maryland in late 1700's. This is the
German line that connected with German Luthern Church in Baltimore City.
John and Salome Cole/Kohl.... William...b 1790's. John or his father may
have deserted from the British Army... or came from a German settlement in Pa
or Va. Many Coles in Maryland were from England or arrived form England and
cannot be connect to John and Salome.
Believed most of the family from John and Salome stayed in Maryland..

I've found some interesting clues on the 1880 census for Sycamore Township,
Montgomery Co. KS, which may help unscramble the descendants of Obediah
[1793-1871] and John Henry COLE [abt 1775 - 1835].
I know that in the past our members have included members of both of these
COLE lines. Is anyone interested in pursuing this puzzle?

My great grandfather was Sam Cole, born 1840. He died 1907 in Indiana.
1880 Census from Jeffersonville, IN indicates that he was born in New
York. His middle initial is possibly "B" His wife was Barbara Cole,
born 1847 in IN and her parents were from Germany, I do not know her
family name.
I would certainly appreciate any information that anyone can provide.
Thanks

Dear Friends:
For many years I have been trying to locate a photo of my mother's first
husband who was born in Cherry Hill (Cecil Co., MD.) in 1885 to James &
Mary (nee Drennen) Cole. I am searching for:
SAMUEL EDWARD COLE (or Edward Samuel) of Newark, DE. He was a member of
the Concordia Hill Lodge No. 67, F. and A. M. of Philadelphia in the
early and mid 1900s and an officer in the Knights of Pythias. A member of
the Methodist Church of Newark and a volunteer fireman. He died in
Newark, DE. in June 1940 while living with his sister Ida (Mrs.Wm. )
Morrison of 28 Choate St., Newark. Samuel Cole was a well-known employee
of the Curtis Paper Mill and he and my mother, Clara, lived at 48 No.
Chapel St., in 1918. Any help or suggestions you can offer would be much
appreciated and a reward paid. Thank you.

I have an Elizabeth Cole married to a Joseph Lovell in the mid to late 1800's living in New York City, possibly the Rockaways. They had 4 daughters - Katherine, Rosemary (my grandmother), Marjorie and Louise. Does this ring bells anywhere out there?
Query:
I think I know that Henry Cole was born in 1805, March 5, in Jersey
City, New Jersey and came to California in 1876 with numerous family members.
At the time he was married to Margaret (Brazee) and one of his sons is James
Norman Cole, another Peter Henry Cole.
I do not know the names of Henry's parents or siblings and am not sure
of his first wife's name, although she was the mother of his daughter Harriet
who stayed in Wisconsin when the rest of the family moved west.
I would like to know any other facts about Henry, the names of his
siblings and any other information about his first wife and/or any facts
about him.
Thank you,
Margaret Fairfield Read
I am researching the family of Guy COLE of Oakham Rutland (baptised 1773),
his ancestors in Oakham, his two wives, Elizabeth NUTT and Martha GEARING,
and their children - Daniel (bpt Langham 1809), Thomas Cornelius (Harrow
Middlesex, 1810), Robert (1812), George (1822), Mary Charlotte (1820),
Martha Elizabeth (1824), and William Henry (1826). All except Daniel
migrated to Port Philip (Melbourne) Australia in the 1840s.
Particularly seeking descendents of Daniel COLE who remained in Middlesex
and is listed in the 1881 census at Ealing with two unmarried daughters,
Jane and Annie.
Hi List:
Searching for a child born around 1916-'17 or '18 in Hartford, CT. to
CLARA GUSBERG (who married Samuel Edward Cole in Hartford, CT. in Aug.
1917) I believe the child (gender unknown) may have been placed up for
adoption.
The Coles moved to 48 Choate St., in Newark, DE. and were there in 1918.
Please reply directly. Thank you.
